PRICING INFORMATION

Nicker’s saddles are Canadian made, shipped from Canada, and priced in Canadian dollars. Price in US dollars is calculated using the Currency Converter and adding the 3% currency conversion fee.

Example: A saddle plus shipping comes to 1300.00 Canadian. Using the currency converter you will find the current days exchange rate and a converter calculator where you can simply plug in the amount and the work is done for you. But as an example of how this works, in case you want a quick math lesson, simply multiply the Canadian exchange rate with the total price. 1300.00 x (.956) = 1242.80. There is a currency conversion fee of 3% applied that is added to the Canadian price. 1300.00 x (3%) = 39.00. So the final price is 1242.80 plus the conversion fee of 39.00 for a total U.S price of $1281.80.

The exchange rate fluctuates frequently in small increments making it necessary to check the Currency Converter on the day of purchase. Certain Accessories are American and in USD. Only Nickers saddles and their accessories are priced Canadian.

Please note: Currently, this Spring of 2011, the exchange rate is not in favor of those is the U.S. This reflects our weak dollar. This week for instance, the exchange rate multiplyer has been 1.02 to 1.04. So on 1000.00 Canadian dollars the U.S price wuld be 1020.00 to 1040.00. We will be considering ways to make your purchase more palatable and less coslty than it needs to be. For the Month of April and May we will be reducing the exchange rate fee from 3% to 1.5%.

Ordering is done the old fashioned way, with a phone call! ( 614 837-7299 eastern time). This assures both you and Gerri that you get exactly what you need.

Shipping and handling can be $70.00 to $105.00 depending on location and size of the box necessary for shipping your saddle(s) and accessories. Order time varies 4 to 6 weeks. Very often there are in-stocks available. Be sure to check the instock list for saddles that can ship immediately. We have Demos available for trial purposes.

This saddle offers a deeper seat than the English
trail saddle. The pommel rises a bit more steeply
in front of the rider and the cantle is a bit higher.

The flap is straighter which is better suited to riders
with a shorter thigh and those who prefer to ride
with a longer straighter leg in the saddle.

The Sensation Jump Model features a forward
cut flap to accomodate a shorter stirrup and
more forward riding position.

The JUMP comes standard with a reduced pommel and the english trail cantle, giving the rider a more open feeling seat with lots of room to adjust to a comfortable, close contact jumping position.

Comes with G3 Rigging and a G4 seat, giving it a classy show-ring ready look and allowing lots of adjustment most ideal for riding with a shorter stirrup.

NOTE: This saddle has not been tested for heights above 3 ft - always ride with caution
and an approved safety helmet, especially
when jumping!

SENSATION WESTLISH REBEL - $1585.00 CAD

The Sensation Westlish Rebel is actually a clever combination of two popular models.  The name comes from Dana's daughter, Samantha, who coined the term "westlish" to describe her riding style: a little bit english, and a little bit western!

We often have riders who love the Hybrid, but really miss the feeling of those "wrap around"  fenders against the leg, rather than a more english style  stirrup leather. The Westlish Rebel is a daring combination of the best of both worlds - the Hybrid base with the Seat and fenders of the Sensation Western!

The Westlish comes standard with G4 Rigging, and also a pommel bolster to create that deep, western feeling pocket for your seat.

9 Rings allow you to attach just about anything to your Rebel, but like our other models, you can certainly add more if desired! Seat sizes are available from 14.5 - 16.5".

SADDLE COLOR OPTIONS - Many different color combinations are available.

• The base of the saddle (everything except the seat, knee and thigh roll) is typically made with black or brown leather but other leathers are also available such as Crazyhorse, see picture #2, Moutaineer, see picture #3 (NuBuck suede). Black Nubuck is also a choice. Leathers for the flap vary in their degrees of grip. Call for explaination.
• The seat, knee and thigh rolls are offered in a variety of leathers and colors as seen below. Suede seats typically in black, chocolate or nubuck make good choices for increased seat grip.
• A fun chameleon color package is offered for 100.00 extra. If the color you want is in stock then there is no 100.00 fee. See picture #4 as a good example.
• New leathers are constantly being offered so email or call to find out what is available. See leather choices in the menu bar at the top of the page for the most current offerings.
